Dynamic Ceiling Radiation Dampers

Models - DGCD, DGCDSB

DynaGuard™ Dynamic Ceiling Radiation Dampers are tested and listed under UL 555C and ceiling design M557. DynaGuard™ is intended for installation in 1-hour rated fire resistive floor-ceiling and roof-ceiling assemblies in accordance with the "Standard for Fire Tests of Building Construction and Materials", UL 263.

Model – DGCD (Butterfly Blade Design)
DynaGuard products can be used for supply side air, inside of ductwork or attached to a ceiling register or grill. Dynamic ceiling radiation dampers are tested and listed to UL 555C and ceiling design M557. The corrosion resistant spring insures positive closure when the fusible link opens. A rigid roll formed frame provides strength and reliability in fire safety structures and assemblies.
 
Application
For use in sheet metal air ducts which penetrate ceilings of hourly-rated fire resistant assemblies.

Construction
Frame: Roll Formed, 22 Ga. galvanized steel
Blades: 22 Ga. galvanized steel
Blade Insulation: Non-asbestos, ceramic blanket on blades

Finish: Mill galvanized
